1. Can you give me some tips or any advice on how to improve my skills in drawing anime?
Practice and take time to learn everything.

What tools do you use for coloring?
Digital = Photoshop CS2
Traditional = Poster & Acrylic Paints on Homespun or Illustration board (mostly for anime backgrounds)
Do you usually use geometrical shapes to start? Or do you jump to the final draft?
We jump to the final draft.
What is your secret in drawing?
Be patient.
2. Can I make a request? (fan-art, etc.)
Sorry, but no. We do not take requests, not unless you will be paying for them.
3. Can I work for you as an assistant for free? I like to learn a lot on how to draw anime.
Our studio does not accept new artists or assistants at the moment. Also we do not have enough time to teach you personally.
4. Why don’t you update your site every now and then?
Apologies but due to our work load we seldom update our site. Probably only once or twice a year…>_<”
5. I would like to ask you to do a sample first before I can decide on hiring artists.
No. Our studio does not make samples anymore (not unless they will be paid). Please check our GALLERY section for more artworks.

I see, too bad. I really need a sample before I can hire you.
99% of people/clients who ask for samples from us immediately disappear. Sorry but our TRASH section is already full of unpaid commissions and sample requests. No down payment, no work.
6. What are these “Anime Economy” and “Anime Deluxe” things?
These are 2 different page rates of our anime services.

Why do you have 2 different page rates?
We used to have only one set of anime page rates bound by some restrictions for the purpose of making the whole commission process smooth and hassle-free for both client and studio. But, due to some clients who are persistent and want control over each step of making the images, we decided to create a new set of anime page rates that will allow these clients to have the freedom to do so.

In summary: If you have a tight budget but don’t mind our restrictions then go to ANIME ECONOMY. If you like to see each phase/progress for approvals but don‘t mind about the higher price then go to ANIME DELUXE.
7. Can I see the pencil work first before I approve of finalizing the image?
Under ANIME DELUXE = yes.

Under ANIME ECONOMY = no. We have a policy of not to showing any sketches to prevent the long waiting for approval of the sketch and repetition of work (which consumes too much of our time to have it finished). And mainly, this is to prevent run-away clients. Most clients that are satisfied with pencils disappear and then have someone else cheaper to finish the inks and colors. For more information go to ANIME ECONOMY: ORDERING INFO section.
8. Will it be alright if you do not post the commissioned work in your site (Gallery) yet or until we release them? The project is confidential.
Under ANIME DELUXE = yes, but only for a limited period of time until your project is released or 1 year max.

Under ANIME ECONOMY = no.
9. My project is a little different and is not mentioned in your services. Do you accept other types of commission?
Yes, other types of projects not mentioned can be negotiable.
10. I would like to talk to one of your artists about a new project.
All discussions about commissions etc. will go through email respondent Glenn Andrean. Other Altiz Studio artists’ emails are private. Please don‘t worry, all emails we receive are read by all Altiz-Studio members.
11. Why is your comic commission closed? I was wondering if I could still hire you to make my comics.
Sorry but our comic commission is PERMANENTLY closed. Making comic pages takes more time and effort to finish than making a set of images. And from our past experience, we’ve had difficulties with the whole process of comic commissioning. Because of these conflicts and problems, we would rather close it down.
12. Do you give out receipts/invoices?
Our order form that we will send to you will serve as your receipt. It will contain: date of arrival of down payment and balance, date of start and end of the commission, description and number of commissions, artist chosen, client infos, etc.
13. I have a project that has a possibility of being accepted by a major company, will you be interested in joining me/my team?
Sorry but no. We only accept “pay-as-you-order” commissions. No “back-end-deals.”

But this is a good opportunity. I promise there will be (equal) sharing of profits on the project.
  The answer is still no.
14. I would like to use one of your original images in your gallery for my project/website. I’m willing to pay for it.
NO. All images in our Gallery section are strictly owned and can only be used by Altiz Studio and the owners of the commissioned artworks. They cannot be used by anyone or anywhere else.
